Free Architectural Walk Through Service
We provide a free walk through architectural advice to residential and commercial clients. Compared to a regular house inspection, our walk-through service shows you the true potential of a property. We provide professional advice about project feasibility, renovation, additions, design ideas, zoning limitations and preliminary construction costs. When we walk through the building, we provide a brief verbal assessments of many elements. We can recommend floor plan modifications that will give you the maximum available use out of the space. We evaluate the basic soundness of the structure, and or / any potential defects. We suggest locations for additions, and give rough preliminary estimates of construction cost. We can suggest contractors, plumber, electricians, mechanical subcontractors, surveyors, and home product suppliers. We explain the Architect’s role and the building process. Usually, this walk-through process takes about 1 hour to accomplish. All communication is verbal, we provide no written reports, sketches, or architectural drawings. The walk through service is only preliminary and it is subject to building department investigation and zoning analysis, which can be done for a small retainer fee. Once hired we provide more in-depth services such as zoning analysis, feasibility studies, schematic & existing condition drawings, and construction documents.
